The Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners has approved the concession of lease agreements with seven car rental companies which will all be located in the new Consolidated Rent-a-car facility (CONRAC) when it opens in 2023. Fourteen brands will be represented by the seven car rental companies. "One of our goals at LAX is to provide a more convenient, efficient, and sustainable experience," said Sean Burton, President of the Board of Airport Commissioners. "Today's lease agreements ensure that our guests will have access to some of the most recognizable brands in the rental car industry in one easily accessible location."

The companies approved for the lease agreements are:
The Los Angeles International Airport is the second largest car rental market among airports in the United States. The airport averages 267,000 vehicles rented monthly. The CONRAC, once completed will be the largest in the United States and will be located at the end of the Automated People Mover train system which was recently approved in a 30 year, $4.9 billion contract with LAX Integrated Express Solutions to design, build, finance and operate.
